No one wants their pavements to fail, but if they do… we have the tools to help determine the cause. We have been a part of a many forensic evaluations. Some include lawyers and insurance companies trying to assess blame and monetary claims; others include owners, consultants or contractors who want to know if they got the materials they paid for. In most cases, we determine the cause of the failure; and more times than not, it could have been prevented by better specifications (see -link to -Materials Specifications) or on-site inspection and testing.
